Whitsunday-2023

Next Service:  Trinity Sunday at 10am

Good morning,
I arrived back from Provincial Synod last night. I was so honored to be present at this Synod. The Diocese of the Holy Cross has now joined the ACC. This is such a great moment for us all to celebrate as we come closer to unity. As our Lord Jesus Christ said in the Gospel of St. John, “That we all may be one as you and I are one.” In addition, we have also established a new province in South Africa. It was a blessed time to dwell together with brethren in unity!
Bishop Scarlett encouraged us to pray for church growth and I think the best way to do this is to pray about bringing back public services of morning and evening prayer as well as have outreach dinners in the community. I am excited for what God will do in our midst. However, church growth will not happen if we do not pray to the Lord of the Harvest. The Harvest is plenty but the workers are few!  Let us work together.
I am also overjoyed at young men who are considering Holy Orders in the ACC. I had the opportunity to meet a potential aspirant who attends St. Stephens in Athens,GA. He had just started attending there so I would ask your prayers that the Holy Spirit would guide him in his discernment. Please also continue to pray for all of our aspirants, postulants, deacons, priests, and bishops.
I am blessed to have the privilege each week of bringing you both Word and Sacrament. Many of you have known me since I was a layman. It has been a joy to serve you all both as a layman and now as a priest.
In Christ, Fr. Brandon
