Trinity Sunday-2023

Next Service:  Feast of St. Barnabas next Sunday  at 10:30am

What is Gaudete?

The word comes from the Latin word meaning to rejoice. Why do we rejoice? I thought that we were penitential during the time of Advent. We rejoice because of the promise of his son. The reading tomorrow, especially the Gospel, convey the fact that we rejoice because God has promised to fulfill the promises he gave through the prophet, Isaiah. He has given His only Son and all that is promised is coming to pass. So, we rejoice at the covenantal faithfulness that God shows to all of us who believe. He does not forget His Covenant. God never left us nor forsook us. During this season do not forget this. No matter the valley you walk in, God sees you and is working out His great plan for you. Rejoice! Come join us at St. Michaels (5041 Lakeshore Drive West, Fleming Island). Rejoice with us for the great things that He has given us and for all those He is doing in our midst. May God bless you!

In Christ,
Fr. Brandon
